Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Dough & Co., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. General Information

Dough & Co. is a Florida Cottage Food bakery operating from a home kitchen. All products are handcrafted and made to order. Because each item is individually decorated, slight variations in color, design, lettering, and overall appearance are normal and part of the handmade process. Inspiration photos are always welcome; however, exact replicas cannot be guaranteed. Digital mock-ups and sketches are intended as visual guides only. Final cookies are hand-decorated and may vary slightly in color, layout, lettering, and design details. Dough & Co. reserves the right to make minor artistic adjustments while maintaining the overall theme and style of the approved design.

2. Orders & Payment

  • Standard custom orders should be placed at least two (2) weeks before the requested pickup or delivery date.

  • Rush orders may be accepted based on availability and are subject to an additional rush fee.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your custom order date. Presale items require payment in full at the time of purchase.

  • Any remaining balance must be paid before pickup or delivery unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Payments are accepted via Zelle, Apple Pay, and Apple Cash.

  • Your order is not confirmed and your date is not reserved until the required payment has been received.

3. Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

Changes to an existing order must be requested at least seven (7) days before the scheduled pickup or delivery date. While every effort will be made to accommodate requested changes, they cannot be guaranteed. Deposits and presale purchases are non-refundable after 24 hours from the time the order is placed. Orders canceled within seven (7) days of the scheduled pickup or delivery date are not eligible for a refund. If Dough & Co. is unable to fulfill your order due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.

4. Pickup & Delivery

Pickup: Orders must be picked up during the agreed-upon pickup window. Orders not picked up within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time without prior communication may be considered abandoned and are not eligible for a refund.

Delivery: Delivery may be available for an additional fee based on distance and availability. Delivery fees begin at $25.

5. Product Care

  • Cookies should be stored at room temperature in their heat-sealed packaging until ready to enjoy.

  • Do not refrigerate decorated sugar cookies.

  • Cookies may be frozen in their sealed packaging for up to three (3) months.

6. Allergens & Cottage Food Information

Products are made in a home kitchen operating under Florida's Cottage Food Law. This kitchen is not inspected by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including:

  • Wheat (gluten)

  • Eggs

  • Milk

  • Soy

  • Tree nuts

  • Peanuts

Although reasonable precautions are taken, Dough & Co. cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Customers are responsible for informing Dough & Co. of any allergies or dietary restrictions before placing an order.

7. Liability

Responsibility for the order transfers to the customer once it has been picked up, delivered, or accepted by the shipping carrier. Dough & Co. is not responsible for damage resulting from improper handling, transportation, storage, or exposure to heat after the order has been released.

8. Photography & Marketing

Dough & Co. reserves the right to photograph completed orders and use those photographs for social media, website galleries, advertising, and other marketing purposes. If you prefer that your order not be photographed or shared publicly, please notify Dough & Co. when placing your order.

9. Privacy

Customer information collected during the ordering process will be used solely for order fulfillment and communication regarding your order. Dough & Co. will never sell or share your personal information with third parties without your consent.

10. Unforeseen Circumstances

Dough & Co. is not responsible for delays or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including severe weather, illness, accidents, power outages, natural disasters, or other emergencies. In these situations, every reasonable effort will be made to communicate promptly and arrange an alternative pickup or delivery date when possible, or provide an appropriate refund.
